Owwwww! Ow ow ow ow ow ouchie ouch!

Plyo kicked my ass this morning. 5 mile ride into work on the bike afterwords didn't help either!

So nutrition went pretty good yesterday. Started the day off with 3 hard-boiled eggs and some melon around 6am. 9am brought me a protein shake with banana. Noon was lunch, chicken with lettuce, carrots, celery and 2tsp of fat-free ranch. 3pm got me a protein bar, with about half a single-serving bag of sunflower seeds to munch on until dinner. For dinner was more grilled chicken, eggplant, squash, zucchini and about a cup of wild rice.

Day 1

Yeah I'm feeling it. Chest and back workout was killer and abs were even worse!

I was averaging about 8-10 pullups per set for the first round, 3-4 on the second.

Pushups I started with around 20 for the standard and military. The diamond cutter pushups I might have been lucky to do 5. Those things are beast!

For the ab killer workout, I was able to hang with the first 4-5 exercises before I felt like throwing up. Ouch! Once I learn all the names of the different workouts, I'll be able to tell you which ones I really hated!

To top it all off, finished up with a 3-mile bike ride to work.

Welp, there it is.

Going to go home tonight and see what it's all about. Start planning grocery lists and setting up a workout area downstairs.

Five days to go!

So I got the P90X fitness workout thing. Will be starting it full-bore on Monday. No smokes, no alcohol, no more Twix ice cream bars ( :( ) and much healthier eating. We'll see how the next 90 days goes for this and if the infomercial is really telling the truth or not!

Will see if mom wants to join for some of the cardio and other workouts a few days a week. It's a self-paced course, so you do whatever you feel up to, as long as you put everything you have into it.

My goals for the 90 days are halving my body fat level and around 185lbs, which I think is ideal for someone my height in good shape. After the 90-days, who knows. They have a "plus" program that is even more intense, so if this round goes well, maybe I'll continue it.

Wish me luck!
